Daniel Nyhuus
Case processing
Daniel has a degree in Finance from BI Norwegian Business School and has been working at Zolva for two and a half years. He works on case processing and performs control tasks in collaboration with ledgers and financial departments. – This work includes identifying the best solutions and agreements for all parties, as well as controlling payments and ensuring that cases are compliant, Daniel explains. On his spare time Daniel enjoys socializing with friends and family. – I also like to go rock climbing and hiking, he adds.
At work Daniel is motivated by improving his communication skills and being able to work as a team to reach the goals that has been outlined. – I would describe the work environment at Zolva as very good. The team consists of great employees that are helpful and caring. Everyone is always there to contribute if challenging situations arise. We share the same goal, which is to deliver the best possible results, Daniel says.
Knut Einar Mjåvatn
Factoring on operational level
Knut Einar Mjåvatn has an operational level factoring role at Zolva`s Group Head Office in Oslo. – When working with operational factoring I handle the ledgers of our customers at every level. This includes importing invoices, recording payments and sending out payment reminders until unpaid receivables are exported to the debt collection department, Knut Einar explains. An essential part of his role is controlling, correcting and improving the processes in relation to account receivables management. – In addition, me and my colleagues help out our customers service departments, Knut Einar says.
Knut Einar is born and raised in a small town in the southern part of Norway. He is 36 years old and when he`s not at work he spends quite a lot of time watching football. – I am a big football fan, and I actually run the Chelsea Supporter club in Norway. I would say that this leadership role is equally time-consuming and rewarding! Other than that, I use my spare time to read, watch TV shows, cook and socialize, Knut Einar says.
– As for my educational background I have two bachelor’s degrees, one in Travel and Tourism from Lillehammer University College and a Bachelor`s degree in Economics, he says. At work Knut Einar is motivated by the team feeling at the office. – I really appreciate the team feeling at Zolva, where me and my colleagues are working together to reach common goals. I must also admit that I get motivated by having things under control and seeing that tasks and processes are improving and developing in the right direction, Knut Einar says.
Kristoffer Hagen Ramberg
Case manager
Being a part of a team with motivated and skilled colleagues is what Kristoffer appreciate with working at Zolva. Get to know him better in the following article and his role as a case manager in the company. Kristoffer is 26 years old and has been working at Zolva for the last three years. – When I`m not at work I like to be social with friends and family. I also use my spare time to invest in real estate. Currently I`m renting out two apartments, he says.
Kristoffer is a case manager at Zolva`s Group Head Office in Oslo. – As a case manager I have client responsibility and manage debt portfolios. As such, I assist clients with legal action processes and credit management. In that regard I also handle demanding situations where difficult decisions must be made, Kristoffer explains.
At work Kristoffer is motivated by the responsibilities he has as a case manager. – I enjoy fast paced work as well as working under pressure. There is nothing more satisfying than solving cases and reaching the budget, Kristoffer says. Getting a lot of responsibilities at an early stage has made him feel appreciated by the management team at Zolva.
Hans Kristian Hovde
Senior caseworker
At Zolva colleagues draw on each other’s competences and experiences Hans Kristian is a senior caseworker at Zolva and has been working in the collection industry since 1986. Being a senior caseworker entails that he is responsible for the processing of purchased financial claims with and without security. When Hans Kristian is not at work, and busy being a case worker, he spends his spare time with friends, cooking and eating good food, and riding his motorcycle.
Previously, I have worked with both invoice requirements, leasing, factoring, banking and finance. I have also been a part of several debt collection agencies, Hans Kristian says. Through his extensive career in the collection industry, he has gained a debt collection permit and authorization and completed several courses. It is safe to say that Hans Kristian is an experienced caseworker!
At work Hans Kristian is motivated by solving exciting and rewarding tasks which gives him greater understanding and knowledge. – It is also motivating to work together with my colleagues and seeing that my job is socially beneficial, Hans Kristian explains.
Lene Bakken
Senior Consultant
Lene started working with debt collection in 2002. She has completed a debt collection professional education and passed an exam making her an authorized licensee within the field. As a senior consultant at Zolva, Lene works on recovering and collecting mortgages and loans for third-party bank customers. – I also assist on urgent matters, such as testing new releases of the collection system, she says. Her responsibility is to correct errors caused by weaknesses in the system.
But what motivates Lene at work? – I am motivated by success and achieving brilliant results for Zolva, she says. It gives her work satisfaction to win a benchmark or solve a big case. In addition, Lene appreciates the possibility of working together with her colleagues on challenging projects. – At Zolva I`m given the opportunity to work on different projects and be a positive support to my colleagues. For me it is motivating to be part of a team working towards a common goal, she underlines.
One of the things Lene appreciates about Zolva is the work environment. She describes her colleagues as motivated and skilled, and easy to work with. – Zolva is known for its flat organizational structure. There is an effective coordination and speed of communication between the managers and employees. This makes it easy to raise questions of any kind, Lene says.
